Build Up and Break Down

DATES

GENERAL

  • Empty stands at 17h00 on 13 October 2026 will either be removed from the floor or filled with lounge and meeting spaces.

  • Only design and custom stand builders have access on 12 October 2026.

  • Package exhibitors only have access on 13 October 2026 from 08h00.

  • On the first day of the exhibition (14 October 2026), only small items may be brought to your stand, but no furniture, no trolleys, no banners or structural items may be brought into the venue on the first day of the show.  All building must be complete the day before.

  • Porters with trolleys are available at the venue on build and breakdown days, please be courteous to other exhibitors and allow the SCC to manage their team effectively.

DELIVERY OF STAND MATERIALS TO THE VENUE

  • The loading bay is a drop-and-go area only. Trucks may offload/load here, but may not park.

    • From 06h00 on 12 October for Scan Display Only.

    • From 12h00 on 13 October for Design Stand Builders (raw space exhibitors with builders for their space).

    • From 08h00 on 30 September for package stand builders/dressers.  These are exhibitors who are using their package and bringing in branding and materials for their stand.  No structural changes or builds.

  • It is recommended that you have a representative on site to accept deliveries during build-up.  If no one is present, deliveries will be placed at your stand.  Unfortunately there is no resource allocated to guarding deliveries, so please note that deliveries left on your stand are at your own risk.  Also note that during the build and breakdown phase there are many working teams, delivery teams and marketing teams in the space, so please manage your risk accordingly.

  • Goods delivered locally within South Africa and surrounding areas may be consigned as follows:-

BREAKDOWN PROCESS

  • Breakdown begins at 14h30 on Friday, 16 October 2026

  • No exhibitor may begin packing up before this time.

  • For health and safety reasons, no delegates may be present in the venue while stands are being broken down.
