Executive Head of Technology (CTO): Adapt IT Education

Thabo has more than 25 years of experience in higher education technology. He first joined Adapt IT as part of the UNISA DT4L business, where he played a pivotal role in stabilising and supporting the Unisa Moodle LMS implementation. From there, he was appointed Senior Manager of Infrastructure, where he was a driving force behind the AWS cloud-hosted offering for the higher education sector. In March 2025 he was appointed Executive Head of Technology (CTO): Adapt IT Education.

But Thabo isn’t just about technical excellence—he’s passionate about empowering young talent and is actively involved in initiatives that go beyond Adapt IT, helping shape the future of the tech industry.

Thabo is currently pursuing a Masters in Computer Science, and his credentials include a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Datametrics, and a B-Tech in IT.
