Looking for a high-impact way to deploy Enterprise Development (ED) spend and strengthen your BEE scorecard?

The new PURCON 2026 Enterprise Development Zone offers a structured, compliant platform that converts your ED investment into tangible business value.

It delivers meaningful market access, skills development, and visibility for your EME beneficiaries, while positioning your organisation as a committed contributor to inclusive economic growth within Higher Education. See images and example mockups below.

Purpose-Built Enterprise Development Investment

Under the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice, companies are required to invest a portion of Net Profit After Tax into qualifying Enterprise and Supplier Development initiatives. The Enterprise Development Zone has been deliberately designed to meet this requirement while moving beyond “tick-box” compliance. It enables measured, purposeful ESD spend that delivers demonstrable outcomes for beneficiaries and reputational value for sponsors.

The Enterprise Development Zone transforms your ED spend from a compliance obligation into a strategic investment—one that creates real economic participation for beneficiaries while reinforcing your organisation’s leadership in responsible and impactful transformation.

ESD Zone positioning and sample mockups

The ESD Zone is positioned in the Entrance Foyer to the Conference, directly opposite the Registration Desks and in the passageway to all conference sessions.

Below the map is a sample mockup of this year's DUT Innobiz ED Stand. They have purchased two adjacent ED Hubs and will be showcasing 10 of their Entrepreneur businesses. The mockups indicate what a single ED Hub could look lime woith one 8m2 Host stand in the front facing the foyer and registration, and containing four 4m2 separate, walled ED Stands for your ED beneficiaries.
