Mr Nikile Ntsababa is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of extensive experience in progressively responsible roles at leading South African universities, including as a University Registrar and Deputy Registrar.

He is currently the Registrar at University of Free State. He is also a Board Member for PURQ.

His strong academic background includes a Master's degree in Public Administration and Postgraduate Diploma in Records and Archives Management, demonstrating a solid foundation in governance, academic administration and records management. Some of the further certification and short courses he has completed include a Certificate in International Higher Education Management from Vanderbilt University, Tennessee State in the USA, a Compliance Management Certificate from UCT, as well as a Certificate in Business Process Design for Strategic Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the USA. He is a Certified Ethics Officer through the Stellenbosch University Business School and the Ethics Institute.

Mr Ntsababa's proven leadership is demonstrated in his ability to lead and manage complex teams, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining institutional governance. An expert in Records Management with deep understanding principles and best practices and experience in developing and implementing records management systems. Mr Ntsababa has proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures to support institutional goals.
