Her educational background includes an LLB degree from the University of Limpopo, an LLM in Estate Law from the University of Pretoria, and additional legal training from UNISA and the University of Free State.

Ms. Mageza has a proven track record of success in private practice, having worked at reputable law firms such as Lindsay Keller Attorneys and Mathekga Attorneys. She is currently the Senior Director of Legal Services at the Central University of Technology (CUT), where she has also served as The Acting Dean of Students and Registrar.

In her role at CUT, Ms. Mageza has demonstrated her ability to provide strategic legal advice, manage complex legal matters, and contribute to the overall governance and administration of the university. Her experience in higher education leadership positions further highlights her versatility and ability to excel in diverse roles.
