Busi Matube is a distinguished and visionary ICT leader with over 23 years of experience in the higher education sector. Currently serving as the Senior Director of ICT and Chief Digital Officer at the Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT), Busi is recognizsd for her exceptional ability to drive digital transformation and implement innovative technology solutions that enhance both student learning experiences and employee productivity.

Busi holds a Master’s degree in IT (MIT) and BSC degree in Physics & Computer Science. She is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since 2014, underscoring her commitment to maintaining high standards in information security.

Busi is lauded for her strategic thinking, risk analysis, and ability to align IT with business goals. Her personal attributes of strong drive, excellent planning and organizational skills, adaptability, and effective communication have consistently contributed to her success as a leader in the ICT field.
