Vebash is a data professional with a love for all things data: from wrangling messy datasets to building analytics solutions. She holds degrees in Computer Science, Applied Math, Banking, Analytics, and an MBA, reflecting her passion for both technical depth and leadership
Before joining SARS in 2024, Vebashini Naidoo held senior leadership roles at Rain South Africa, Rand Merchant Bank, and Absa Capital.
Beyond her career in data science, she is deeply committed to growing Africa’s STEM community, especially for girls and women. She leads R-Ladies Johannesburg, champions the AfricaR community, and is driven by the belief that representation in data and tech matters.
