Chief Investment Strategist, Old Mutual Wealth
Izak started his career at Old Mutual in Cape Town in 2006. He later became an investment analyst for Fairbairn Capital and when that business was absorbed into Old Mutual Wealth in 2013, he joined Old Mutual Multi-Managers as an Investment Strategist.
In his current role, he analyses the interaction of the macro-economy and financial markets, both global and domestic, supporting asset allocation decisions across Old Mutual Wealth’s investment offerings. He writes regular commentary on the markets and is often quoted in the media.
Izak holds an MPhil in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Cape Town
