Bheka Mabika
Co-Founder, Qless (Pty) LtdĀ 

Bheka Mabika is co-founder of Qless, where he leads business and product development for a campus food-ordering platform now serving more than 3,000 users. He is completing a Bachelor of Business Science in Actuarial Science at the University of Cape Town, specialising in Quantitative Finance, and serves as a Class Representative and Microeconomics II tutor.

He pairs entrepreneurship with technical depth. During vacation work at PwC he built a browser-based ZAR bond option pricing terminal using the Black-76 model, and he has worked on ETL pipelines and SQL-based systems as a part-time software engineer at Scrutinysoft. He has also gained exposure to systematic trading and quantitative investing through Fairtree Capital and Prescient Investment Management.

Bheka is the Gallagher Foundation's Lead Scholar for South Africa and was named a regional finalist in the Department of Higher Education's EDHE competition on the strength of Qless's traction and growth. He co-founded the UCT Trading & Investment Society, was selected for the South African Mathematics Foundation's national Olympiad camp, and earned UCT Plus Gold for more than 350 hours of service as a residence Treasurer.
